Implementing new workflows with Atlassian and SAFe

A motor insurance company based in Wales (UK), founded in 1993 and listed on the London Stock Exchange as part of the FTSE 100 index, which has diversified its business model and now also offers multi-line, home and travel insurance.

OBJECTIVES

Admiral’s subsidiaries, which operate under the brands Balumba and Qualitas Auto in Spain, ConTe in Italy and L’Olivier in France, want to unify the tools they use to manage their IT processes.  Until now, they have worked with Pivotal Tracker for development and project management, and with other tools for service assignment and user support. They decided to cooperate across the board in this initiative, migrating to the Atlassian product suite. In addition, the Italian subsidiary decides in 2020 to implement the SAFe agile scaling framework and needs support in this evolution. Admiral is therefore looking for a reliable partner, certified in the Australian manufacturer’s product suite and with experience in the agile world, to accompany it in this complex transformation project.

  • Initial workshop to review the workflows implemented to date.
  • Simplification of the logical structure of the projects, designing in Jira new simpler flows common to all teams.
  • Reorganisation of the data structure according to the SAFe methodology, migration to Jira and testing, following the specificities of the Cloud migration process.
  • Implementation of the Structure add-on by ALM Works, a partner of atSistemas, to have a global view of the relationships within a complex data structure.
  • Training for administrators and Scrum Masters with a “train the trainers” approach.
  • Implementation of SSO with identity provider One Login and Atlassian Access.
  • Technologies: Jira Software, Jira Service Desk, Tempo Timesheets, Structure for Jira, Atlassian Access, all in Cloud mode.
